TechUnity was created by the events and trends of the 1990s, and now embraces an imperative to become the business and technology service provider of choice to developers and users of information technology. During the high-tech boom of the 1990s the business landscape was littered with thriving entrepreneurial startups. In every aspect of information technology it was typical to encounter a multitude of players. As the 1990s ended, the technology landscape commenced its consolidation, and hoards of high-tech businesses were devoured by prevalent players.

The predatory acquisition phenomenon of the late 1990s created both hysteria and opportunity. High-tech players became painfully aware of their vulnerabilities, and exceptional consultants found an avenue to extend their professional services to the vulnerable. TechUnity established its mission out of this opportunity, and has played a pivotal role in rescuing several high-tech businesses from the brink of disaster.
